Dream quartet was conceived in June 2010 through a series of Facebook messages entitled, “Dream Quartet of Mine” between its members; hence the name. Our favorite songs are anything challenging. We love road trips, which is key, since two of us live in Nashville, TN and the other two live in Atlanta, GA! Dream currently holds the record for the highest quartet score in our region and is very excited to be representing our region at the next International Contest in Houston, Texas!
(Watch for our new 5-song demo CD will be available in hard copy and on iTunes in a few weeks.)
Dream Tenor, Stacy Llamazales, began barbershopping (it’s the ONLY form of ‘shopping’ she enjoys) in 1994 on the front of the Georgia Harmony Chorus. In 2000, she joined the front row of the Song of Atlanta Show Chorus until 2006. Past quartets include Vogue (1998 Regional 1st place), Minx (2005 Regional 2nd place), Spice (2006, 2007, 2009 Regional 1st place and 2009 International 16th place). She currently lives just north of Atlanta, Ga with her husband and 2 young boys.
Dream Lead, Jennifer Cooke, started singing barbershop at a young age with her mom, dad and sister in Marion, OH. She brought this love of 4-part harmony with her to Nashville, TN, where she joined Sweet Adelines, International in 2000. Jen currently is the director of the Scenic City Chorus in Chattanooga, TN and sings lead with the TuneTown Show Chorus in Nashville, TN, where she also serves as lead section leader, education team chair, a member of the directing team and front row dancer. She also sings baritone with the 4th place International chorus, Song of Atlanta. Jen (because she has so much free time) also creates Dreamy learning tracks. In addition to her resume, she has 4 regional 1st place wins with the quartet Reckon So!
Dream Baritone, Robin Williams (not the famous comedian), grew up singing a capella harmony in church, so it was only natural that she would learn to love barbershop. She was introduced to barbershop when she was in college and sang in a women’s quartet. From the first chords she sang in that quartet, she was hooked. So, after twenty-some-odd years in various choruses and quartets, she has been blessed with 4 regional 1st place wins with Jen in the quartet, Reckon So. Singing with her is truly a Dream, but occassionally her country upbringing comes to the surface and we all get a little skeered, we mean – scared! We love our baritone.
Dream Bass, Susan Milani, has been barbershopping since 1996, beginning on the front row of the Song of Atlanta Show Chorus. She also served as the Bass section leader, front row coordinator and music team member. She has sung in multiple quartets: diva (2000 & 2001 Regional 1st place), Minx (2005 Regional 2nd place), Spice (2006, 2007, 2009 Regional 1st place and 2009 International 16th place). She has been on the International stage five times and has always sung bass (why sing something else…the lyrics are always so easy). She currently also lives just north of Atlanta, Ga with her husband, daughter, son and their 2 furry children, Cody and Rosie.
