Song of Atlanta

Song of Atlanta excites audiences and creates tender and memorable moments within our performances through our diverse repertoire. Our members have found a home through a shared passion for singing and a love of performing.

Song of Atlanta is directed by Becki Hine, Master 700 Director.

Song of Atlanta (SOA) is a Sweet Adelines International (SA) a cappella chorus complying with the SA membership guidelines. Based in the Greater Atlanta area, the chorus is made up of a diverse set of women of all backgrounds who share a passion for joining voices to create beautiful harmonies. When you walk into one of our rehearsals and hear that first chord, you’ll be hooked forever.

Song of Atlanta placed SECOND at the Sweet Adelines International Competition and Convention in Kansas City, MO in October 2024. This was their highest placement at the International level and delighted audiences with their award-winning semifinals set and Vampire finals set, which featured music arranged by Clay Hine and Melody Hine.

SOA rehearses weekly on Tuesdays at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church at 7pm. If you love singing, we welcome you to join us!

Atlanta Vocal Project

Under the direction of Clay Hine, Atlanta Vocal Project is an award-winning Atlanta metro a cappella chorus specializing in the barbershop style. Their vision is to enrich lives in every generation in their surrounding communities with performances, music education, school system programs, and community activities through the lifelong benefits of a cappella harmony singing.

They regularly perform across North Georgia and compete in choral competitions across the US and beyond. We're always open to new singers and new performance requests. Visit one of their weekly open rehearsals, or contact them for more info, and help us in our ongoing mission of spreading harmony.

If you're looking to hire musical entertainment for your organization or event, they can provide music for nearly any occasion, from 4-singer quartets to a full chorus of over 30 members, certain to make it a memorable, impactful day with professional musicianship.

Rehearsals are every Thursday starting at 7pm at Redwood Church at St. John.
