Song of Atlanta
Song of Atlanta excites audiences and creates tender and memorable moments within our performances through our diverse repertoire. Our members have found a home through a shared passion for singing and a love of performing.
Song of Atlanta is directed by Becki Hine, Master 700 Director.
Song of Atlanta (SOA) is a Sweet Adelines International (SA) a cappella chorus complying with the SA membership guidelines. Based in the Greater Atlanta area, the chorus is made up of a diverse set of women of all backgrounds who share a passion for joining voices to create beautiful harmonies. When you walk into one of our rehearsals and hear that first chord, you’ll be hooked forever.
Song of Atlanta placed SECOND at the Sweet Adelines International Competition and Convention in Kansas City, MO in October 2024. This was their highest placement at the International level and delighted audiences with their award-winning semifinals set and Vampire finals set, which featured music arranged by Clay Hine and Melody Hine.
SOA rehearses weekly on Tuesdays at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church at 7pm. If you love singing, we welcome you to join us!
Probly Fine Quartet
TBD
Wicked Blend Quartet
Presto! Quartet formed December 20, 2015 as a competing quartet in Sweet Adelines International. There have been a couple of personnel changes along the way, but Presto! 3.0 is going strong!
Lindsay (tenor), Jen (lead) and Kathe (baritone) sing with Song of Atlanta. Jen directs Scenic City Chorus in Chattanooga and Kathe sings with them. Jen also directs Music City Sound Chorus (Harmony Incorporated, mostly Zoom) and Kathe sings with them. Kris directs Bluegrass Harmony Chorus in Louisville, KY (Harmony Incorporated) and Kathe and Jen sing with them! Lindsay is too busy having babies to sing in so many choruses!
We are thrilled to be singing with our own Song of Atlanta Chorus today! We would love to sing on YOUR chapter show or other event! Please contact us at jen.cooke71@gmail.com.
